March 23 - 24, 2001

The 2001 Conference is being hosted by the Geological Society of America and the American Institute of Professional Geologists in Golden, Colorado.  Please click on the appropriate button for additional information about the conference.  A preliminary agenda should be available during December 2000.

This year's theme will be Evaluating the Value of Field Experiences in Geoscience Training and Education. The goal of the conference is to develop a profession-wide understanding of the value of field experience and to endorse a resolution underlining this understanding.

The registration fee for this year's conference is $230.  This fee includes materials, meeting rooms, and most meals during the conference.  AGI Academic Associates receive one complimentary registration as part of their Associate Membership.
