Comments: Logs can be copied and cores sampled. NRIS has a digital database of drill-hole and production (since 1979) data of all oil and gas wells in Oklahoma. Currently, this database can be accessed only at this facility. NRIS is the repository of full-scale well logs for Oklahoma, and it has a major collection of cores and cuttings, mostly from Oklahoma.

It furnishes copies of Oklahoma Corporation Commission Reports, plugging records and change-of-operator reports. Prices are based on the number of copies furnished per request. There is no membership fee. Copies furnished are Xerox copies or (for broad areas of the state) 16mm roll film microfilm.

Comments: The Library covers all of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas Panhandle (District 10), North Texas (District 9), Kansas, and all of the Rocky Mountain states. The library is a hands-on facility for members and visitors. Because the library has a membership from coast to coast and border to border, it provides a large mail-out service.
