Comments: The Division of Geology and Earth Resources houses complete well files for most wells drilled in Washington State. It also contains the state geologic survey and the state geologic library. It currently has approximately 300 maps and reports in print and a full-time research staff for customer assistance. In addition, it regulates petroleum, geothermal, and natural-gas storage (underground), and some types of injection, and it can assist with permitting issues.
