The Geosphere

The Geosphere is the part of the Earth System that includes the crust and the whole inside of the planet. Literally, it is the world beneath your feet! There are thousands of different components in the Geosphere. They can be as small as a single piece of rock. They can be as large as the Earth’s mantle. Your research of the Geosphere will reveal connections between different parts and processes. This shows that they are part of the same huge system. Thinking of the Geosphere as a system will help you to organize your knowledge and answer many questions.
