Minority
Geoscience Scholarship
The broad goal
for this program is to maintain and increase incrementally the number of
underrepresented ethnic-minority students in the geosciences. Since employment
opportunities in the geosciences increase significantly for those who hold
graduate degrees, the program targets the increased matriculation of minority
students in advanced-degree programs. This program is supported by funding
from AGI Corporate Associates and Member Society support.
