for the William L. Fisher Congressional Geoscience Fellowship

Due to the nature of the position, applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must be a member of at least one of AGI's member societies, a list of which is available at http://www.agiweb.org/members/index.html. Please provide a list of the societies and your membership identification numbers as an addendum to your cover letter.

Please submit your cover letter (with an addendum listing your memberships and the names and contact information of your three references), a statement of purpose (should include your reasons for applying for this fellowship, what you would bring to the fellowship and what you hope to gain from the fellowship) and a curriculum vitae. The statement should be brief, no more than 1,000 words in length.

Please submit these materials as one Word document (.doc) or PDF (.pdf) with appropriate headings and page breaks to distinguish the three components (cover letter, statement and CV). This submission form will ask you to attach one complete document formatted in one of the filetypes listed above. Please prepare your document before beginning the submission process to avoid any errors in transmission.
