Congressional Natural Hazards Caucus
Forum on Reducing America's Vulnerability to Disasters

This initial forum of the caucus, which was attended by over 180 people, highlighted how Congress can help make the nation more resilient to the many natural and man-made hazards facing the nation, including floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, landslides, volcanoes, hailstorms, drought, fire, and tsunamis. Senators Stevens and Edwards were joined by Senator Akaka to receive testimony.
