DOCUMENT DELIVERY SERVICECOPYRIGHT COMPLIANCE The GeoRef Document Delivery Service is compliant with U.S. and international copyright laws. The GeoRef DDS is registered with the Copyright Clearance Center (www.copyright.com) (CCC) and makes payment directly to the CCC for copyright royalties required by the publishers who register their works through the CCC. In cases where the publisher of a DDS order is NOT registered with the CCC or if copyright permission is denied through CCC the GeoRef DDS will attempt to obtain that permission directly from the rightsholder. Copyright permission requests are made with the understanding that the articles are not to be republished or further reproduced in any manner and that the source of the article will be acknowledged by attaching a copy of the title page of the source document to the article. The GeoRef DDS assumes responsibility for copyright compliance only on the copy or copies we deliver. Ensuring compliance with copyright law for subsequent usage is the responsibility of the end user. |
