Jean Bahr is currently a Professor in the Department
of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
She also chairs the
interdisciplinary Water
Resources Management graduate program at Madison. Prior to joining
the UW faculty in 1987, she worked in geotechnical
consulting (1976-1980) and part-time for the USGS (1983-1986). She
received her BA in Geology from Yale (1976) and her MS (1985) and PhD (1987)
in
Applied Earth Sciences (Hydrogeology) from Stanford.
