VERIFICATION
AGI Minority Geoscience Scholarship
recipients must be U.S. citizens who are members of an ethnic group that
is underrepresented in the geosciences (Black/African, American, Hispanic/Latino,
and Native American, including American Indian, Eskimo/Alaskan Native,
and Pacific Islander). Scholars must be enrolled as full-time
students in the fall semester of the 2008-2009 academic year with
their major declared in geoscience. Forms must include the signature of
the geoscience department chairperson for the scholar's department.
Please note: Scholarship awards are not
released without this verification of status. AGI
reserves the right to announce the names and schools of all scholarship
recipients.
