The National Directory of Geoscience Data Repositories is the report of a survey conducted by the American Geological Institute in 1996.  Repositories holding geoscience data, particularly cores, cuttings, and paper records were surveyed and compiled into a report.  This report is now available electronically via this web site.  Please check back soon for additional data repositories and new ways of accessing the data.
