Comments: This office can deliver data in hard copy (paper
printout) or floppy-disk format. Other holdings include drill cuttings
for about 1,200 wells. The survey has no seismic or other geophysical
data other than logs. Topographic maps include USGS digital raster
maps on CD-ROM, and geologic maps (surface). Aerial imagery includes
selected areas of western Pennsylvania for the years 1938-1940,
1955, 1973, 1969, 1988.

Comments: The Mine Map Repository maintains a file of abandoned-mine
maps, which total approximately 250,000. These represent coal and
non-coal maps nationwide. Information available from maps in the
repository is used by a wide variety of customers, including mining
companies, developers, real estate companies, federal and state
agencies, utilities, consultants and engineering firms, energy interests,
law-enforcement officials, public-safety agencies, and private citizens.
