Welcome to the Beta website of the GeoDirectory, the next generation of AGI's Directory of Geoscience Departments. After nearly 50 years of continuous publication, the Directory of Geoscience Departments (DGD) is now a free online resource.
The GeoDirectory brings to you information on the people and places of nearly 3000 geoscience organizations from around the world. As with the DGD, the strength of this system is in the US and Canadian academic geosciences departments and state geological surveys.
Several key issues:
- To minimize spam, all personal phone numbers and emails are not clickable text.
- Listings are only changable by the official organziation contact.
This site is currently in beta - we welcome your use, comments, suggestions, and notification of any errors you may encounter. We will be continuously bringing new features, enhanced data quality, and expanded coverage, so please check back often.
